1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make a site work. Others measure how a site is used. This site uses both kinds, and nothing else. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. Essential cookies

These are set without asking, because the tools they belong to cannot work without them. They are only set if you use that tool.

  • fmc_hcbp. Set when you enter your access code for the Recruitment Health Check and Blueprint at fittonmillett.com/health-check or fittonmillett.com/blueprint. Holds your access code, your first name so the tool can greet you, and the time it was issued. Signed so it cannot be altered. Keeps you signed in for 7 days
  • fmc_reset. Set when a 90-Day Reset client signs in to their online workbook. Holds the same three things as fmc_hcbp and is signed in the same way. Keeps them signed in for 7 days
  • fmc_reset_wb. Set alongside fmc_reset. A plain identifier that tells the workbook which saved progress belongs to that client. It is not signed, and changing it unlocks nothing. Lasts 7 days
  • fmc_guide. Set when a facilitator signs in to the 90-Day Reset facilitator guide. Holds the same three things as fmc_hcbp and is signed. Only used by FMC

The Blueprint and the Reset workbook also save your progress in your browser's local storage. That is covered in section 4.

3. Analytics cookies, only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, how long people stay, roughly where they are, what device they use and how they reached the site. This helps us improve the site. It is not used for advertising.

No Google Analytics code loads until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or do nothing, no analytics cookie is set and no usage data goes to Google.

Once you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies:

  • _ga. Distinguishes one visitor from another. Set for up to 2 years
  • _ga_TKDQ24X611. Keeps track of your session on this site. Set for up to 2 years

Your browser may shorten these. Chrome, for example, limits any cookie to about 13 months.

Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it to the United States. Our Privacy policy explains the safeguards for that transfer.

4. Other browser storage

Some things are kept in your browser's storage rather than in cookies. Clearing your browser data removes all of it. With one exception noted below, none of it is sent to us:

  • fmc_consent. Your cookie banner choice and the date you made it, so we do not ask on every page
  • fmc_hcbp_token and fmc_reset_token. Your access code for the Health Check and Blueprint, or the Reset workbook, kept so you can get back in without retyping it. This is the exception: when you return, the saved code is sent to us so we can check it is still valid
  • fmc-blueprint-v1. Your Blueprint progress
  • fmc_healthcheck_result and fmc_healthcheck_banner_dismissed. Your Health Check result and whether you have closed the result banner
  • 90-Day Reset workbook progress, for Reset clients only
  • fmc_guide_token, fmc_guide_pathway_v1 and fmc_guide_timer_v1. Facilitator guide sign-in, pathway and timer state. Only used by FMC
  • Purchase details on the /welcome page after you pay, used to show your confirmation. These are held in session storage and are cleared when you close the tab

5. Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, which appears on most pages including this one. This reopens the banner. Choosing Reject after you have accepted stops analytics straight away and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

You can also block or delete any cookie through your browser. If you block the essential cookies you will need to sign in to the relevant tool each time you open it.

6. Third party pages

Some links take you to services run by other companies, for example Stripe for payment and Fantastical for booking a call. Those pages are not part of this site and set their own cookies under their own policies.
